All of our tours have a basic itinerary, which will always include a visit to a traditional market, a local primary school to help the children study English and a tour of a Balinese house where you can receive a Hindu blessing! For every tour, we also study the calendar to search out a traditional ceremonial event. At the ceremony, it is likely that you will be the only tourists in attendance. Do not worry, however as Balinese are very friendly and always welcome tourists to their traditional ceremonies.
All of our tours are private, and include air-conditioned transportation from your hotel with an English speaking guide with a degree in the Balinese Hindu religion and culture, admission fees to all sites, and the use of traditional Balinese clothes for visiting temples and ceremonies. We are based in Ubud, but can arrange pick-up and vary the tour for visitors who are staying in other areas of Bal.
Full Day Tours
All day tours leave when you are ready to depart (just let us know your preferred departure time; however we recommend around 8:00 a.m. to make sure there is enough time to visit all the sites). Your tour should end around 5:00 p.m., depending on the amount of time spent at the traditional cultural event, and traffic conditions. In addition to the sites shown on each tour description, all of our tours will include a visit to a traditional cultural event.
Full day tours include roundtrip air- conditioned transportation, services of an English speaking guide, admission fees, and use of traditional Balinese clothes .
